Lighting

What is a home without being able to see it! There are four different types of lighting to take into account: One, task lighting is usually used for one specific area, such as reading, writing, arts, etc. Second, is accent lighting, the most notable lighting in a room. It is used specifically to accent an object in the room, such as a painting, statue, etc. Third, is decorative lighting, which is not usually used to give off a lot of light but is used as the design element. For example, a beautiful wrought iron lamp, gold candles placed at the centre of a dining room table, etc. Fourth is ambient lighting, the natural light in a room, allowing the room to flow and blend into its ambiance. When staging a home, lighting can really be an important factor. Lighting can be the smallest thing to change to make a room feel brighter or warmer. Light can bring that difference to any room in your home.
